Connecting
To connect to our IRC channel you can either use your own client or use the excellent Freenode webchat interface.
Your own client
You can use your own desktop based client to connect to Freenode. Some good clients are:
Once you have downloaded a client, set it to connect to irc.freenode.net, port 6667, channel #nookdevs.
If it is configured correctly you can click the following link to automatically connect!

Webchat
The freenode webchat is available at http://webchat.freenode.net/. To join, type in a nick (unique handle/nickname), a channel to join (#nookdevs might be a good one to start with :) ) and press Connect!

We log all channel activity on #nookdevs. You can view the logs at [1]

Bots
nookBot is our bot for the channel and she (yes it does have a gender) has many MANY functions available to users.
