Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet is an e-reader/tablet hybrid developed by Barnes & Noble, based on the Android platform. The device was was released on November 17, 2011 for US$249. The Nook Tablet will compete with the Apple iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and other tablets, and includes Wi-Fi connectivity, and a seven inch LCD Capacitive Touch Screen display that serves as the primary input device.
