Run the launcher:

 am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.android.launcher/.Launcher

Stop USB Mass Storage (horrible hack):

 mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk0p5 -t ext2 /system
 cd /system/bin
 mv vold mold

then find the pid of vold

 ps vold

and kill it

 kill
