Portal:NookColor
From nookDevs
Welcome to the Nook Color Portal on NookDevs.com
Nookie Honeycomb is an experimental version of Android 3.0, which is based on a pre-compiled "programmers's release" of Honeycomb from Google.
Cyanogenmod 7 (CM7), based on Android 2.3 ("Gingerbread"), is a heavily-enhanced firmware available for over 30 different devices, including the Nook. The Nook version has several enhancements, including bluetooth support and more.
Nookie Froyo is a "vanilla" installation of Android 2.2 with few Nook-specific enhancements. (Barnes & Noble's "stock" 1.2 firmware is also based on Android 2.2 but is heavily modified.)
