Synopsis
nookLibrary is an application which eases the organization and sorting of large sideloaded libraries. This functionality is somewhat crippled in the official B&N app as you can't sort by different methods and finding your books may be difficult if you even have a couple hundred books. Version 0.1.3 has option to archive/delete B&N books, improved coverflow, View by folders/tags option, and few other bug fixes.
NookSync
Please download and install NookSync that is required by nookLibrary to provide you with Archive/delete option for B&N Books and samples. If you don't plan to use B&N Books or the archive/delete options, no need to install this.
You can get it here: The new version let's you also sort books by folders and includes many other features.
Current version for nookSync is 1.1
Please read 'HELP' inside nookLibrary application. It contains full documentation on the latest version.
How to delete a book
1. Open nookdevs library
2. select a book (do NOT open it)
3. press the button: 'view details'
4. Press and hold the button that is on the upper right side (looks like a small bookcase)
5. If you do it right, then it will display a confirmation message, asking if you want to delete the selected book.
6. Press 'OK'
How to archive a book
1. Open nookdevs library
2. select a book (do NOT open it)
3. press the button: 'view details'
4. Tap the button that is on the upper right side (looks like a small bookcase) (DO NOT HOLD IT)
5. It will archive the book and you will be returned back to the book list (my documents)
How to UNarchive a book
1. Make sure the button 'show archived' says 'on', if not then press the show archived button.
2. It should display only archived books now
3. Select a book you wish to unarchive
4. press 'view details'
5. Tap the button that is on the upper right side (looks like a small bookcase) (DO NOT HOLD IT)
To summarize this: the button on the upper right side has two functions:
1. If you just tap it (press once) then it will archive/unarchive a book;
2. If you hold it for a few seconds, it will display a confirmation message, asking if you wish to delete the selected book.
Install
Install it
adb install nookLibrary.apk
or extract to sd/packages and open using trook.
Run it using the Launcher
UnInstall
adb uninstall com.nookdevs.library
