Install the Softroot on your nook by following the Softroot instructions. Now with ADB over USB. Browse the Application Directory. Find more about nook tips and tricks. And don't forget about the FAQ. Start developing for nook by downloading Android SDK. Oh, yeah, read the FAQ.
Root the NookColor by following the instructions. Visit the Portal:NookColor to participate in the process of opening up the new NC. The NookColor uses the regular android SDK.
